Stepping Stones & Paths

Paths can be beautiful, but stepping stones perform the same practical function while bringing a dose of fantasy and adding an extra aesthetic dimension to a garden. As designers, we always talk about balance, and that's what stepping stones bring to a space, whether it's to add a much-needed green touch to what would otherwise be a solid strip of hard materials or, conversely, to punctuate a planting strip with the textural contrast of stone.
